Working in Clinical and Starting a Side hustle

In this episode, Libby sits down with Dietitian bosses Bonnie and Erica. Dr. Erica Rossella is a board certified metabolic surgeon who started researching the gut brain axis after her own health issues inspired her to help others. She then enlisted Bonnie Buckingham MSR, the CDC, a Dietitian passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food through compassion and self-acceptance. They founded the art of geriatrics after discovering that not everyone had access to high quality nutrition and lifestyle education that is specific to bariatric surgery. The geriatrics believes the best medicine is a blend of traditional Western science and holistic care, and even deeper that the root of many illnesses start in the gut. Feeling your gut and bodies need a multifactorial approach that includes our food, mental health, the body's ability to move freely and our environment.

“ I think getting a business coach, getting somebody to kind of like, you know, root for you and help reframe things, getting a partner, getting somebody you can talk to about it, you know, getting more like mentorship in this space, I think is really helpful. And Libby look at you like a mentor.”- Bonnie & Erica
