In today’s episode, Guest Host Marissa Kai is speaking with Lemma Brown. Lemma is a registered dietitian nutritionist, specializing in diabetes nutrition and education. She graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in human nutrition and foods and completed her dietetic internship and master's degree in nutrition from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She now lives in Harrisonburg, Virginia with her family. Lemma has lived with type one diabetes for over 15 years. Her own diagnosis sparked her interest in studying nutrition and pursuing it as a professional career. She's passionate about helping others with diabetes lower their A1C with flexible low carb eating strategies that fit easily into busy lifestyles.
