The importance of owning your niche, no matter how narrow with Priscilla Blevins

Episode #123

In today’s episode, Libby is talking with Priscilla Blevins. Priscilla Blevins has a passion to help women live a sustainable lifestyle, to lose weight, and manage anxiety. Her passion stems from her own health journey from being diagnosed with a heart murmur at birth, as well as Shone's complex, a very rare congenital heart defect, consisting of multiple left heart obstructive defects. At age 12, she was told, "You can never eat fat or you'll die." So she focused very hard during high school to eat right to manage her weight, but struggled with fatigue, depression, and anxiety, which eventually led to panic attacks. After completing a Master's of Science in nutrition, she found solid evidence of the effects of a keto diet. She started eating this way and within one month had tripled her energy levels, and within two months the anxiety and panic attacks were non-existent. She embraced this food as medicine for the mind and soul.

“The biggest one for me is still that mindset tip. If you have anyone that wants to pull you down and want to argue with you, just unfollow them. Unfollow anyone in your realm or block them and focus on your energy and solving your ideal client's biggest problem.” - Priscilla Blevins
